Home Made Christmas Gifts for Healthy People

For the Holidays & Chocolate Lovers

I always like giving gifts that have a “healthy” concept. No I am not that person who gives out fruit and tooth brushes on Halloween. That’s extreme… But I do like spending money on gifts that I know the person will enjoy, and bring joy to their lives. It can me simple, and it can be something they might not have ever bought them selves.

Since we are all adults in my family, we have decided to do a Chinese gift exchange. We did it last year and it worked out great. This year we decided to do the same, If you don’t know what I am talking about, it goes a little like this. First confirm a $ amount for said gifts. Each person purchases or makes something worth the $ amount discussed. Then you wrap it up and Christmas morning each person takes a turn choosing a random gift, unwraps it. Once everyone has unwrapped their gifts you have a choice to keep your gift or trade with someone. You can only ask once! And if someone wants your gift you have to give it to them.

We decided 75$ is a fare price, since we just moved and I have had some issues with jobs (because moving is never stressful and it always works out exactly as planned NOT). I thought I would make my gift this year… I did add a little BeautyCounter into the gift bag as well, an exfoliating sponge and some Epsom Bath Salts. Which were all on sale.

My gift is made with some bought and some home made, its created for one of the ladies in my family who wants to indulge in some healthy hot cocoa, take a bath and relax with mineral rich epsom salt, exfoliate all the old stuff away into the new year, and then go out on the town with a really pretty smokey eye created with carefully selected SAFE ingredients.

Sounds lovely to me! In fact if know one else wants my gift I will just trade for it haha. That’s not the point of the game but its an option.

I made two jars of home made hot chocolate with nourishing and healthy ingredients. If you wanted to share this as a gift this year. I think three would be fun to give with a nice mug, so here are THREE HOME MADE HOT CHOCOLATE IDEAS.

Recipe Notes

NOTE: I made little cards and tied them to the jars, with the names of eat chocolate blend. Including the list of ingredients. I have a small info card in the gifts with a small blurb about what medicinal mushrooms are in each one and what they are used for. Just as a disclaimer and fun way to know what your drinking.

I choose to add collagen and medicinal mushrooms because to be I think that is the BEST way to add nourishing add on's into your already tasty little treat. This hot chocolate trio is created for anyone who is open to consuming those ingredients and or already are. Maybe not the best option to force them onto any of your family members who are most likely not going to try it because it has "strange healthy things it it" .

But if they are open to trying its a fun way to get them to test out how they feel when they drink a sweet treat with the added nourishment from the collagen and mushrooms.
